Yaoyao Chen is an Associate Analyst for Elizabeth Park Capital Management. She supports the investment staff by conducting company and industry research, updating fundamental databases, and developing marketing materials.
Before joining Elizabeth Park Capital Management as an Associate Analyst, Yaoyao interned with EPCM during the summer of 2019, where she supported the investment team through various research project-oriented work. She interned with EPCM again from the summer of 2021 through June 2022. She supported the marketing and operations teams and worked directly to complete marketing and client fulfillment for our venture capital joint venture.
Yaoyao graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Oberlin College and Conservatory in June 2022, receiving a B.A. in Economics and a B.M. in Violin Performance. While at Oberlin College, she participated in the Ashby Business Scholars program and served as the Co-Chief Investment Officer for the Oberlin Student Finance and Investment Club. Yaoyao is a classically trained violinist and has performed as a soloist with the Madison Symphony Orchestra and the Chippewa Valley Symphony Orchestra. Yaoyao is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and enjoys volunteering by playing violin for local nursing homes.
